IN DELOREAN'S SHADOW - BY STEPHEN ARRINGTON

THE DRUG TRIAL OF THE CENTURY BY THE SOLE SURVIVING DEFENDANT

Stephen Arrington, a Vietnam War veteran and bomb disposal frogman, worked with the CIA, Secret Service, and on secret military operations. A marijuana mistake led to his fall from that rank of heroes.

Arrington winds up in the San Diego surfer community, but soon finds himself pulled into a whirlwind of international criminal intrigue. His trusted mentor has crossed to the dark side and become the top West Coast cocaine smuggler for Pablo Escobar.

Arrington is told, “Silver or lead—take the money or a bullet in the head. Fly the drug plane or die.”

With Pablo Escobar preparing to front millions for a high-tech smuggling operation, there seems to be no way out. Then, without warning, Arrington is arrested by a dozen armed FBI agents and

charged as co-defendant in the John Z. DeLorean case.

He now faces life in prison—if he can survive.

This is a true story about hope that never surrenders. Arrington went on to achieve his childhood dream, serving as Chief Diver and Expedition Leader under Jacques Cousteau aboard the Alcyone for five years. He documented whales, dolphins and great white sharks around the world.

In 2017, Arrington was granted a full and unconditional presidential pardon by President Barack Obama.

Book cover featuring a DeLorean with gull-wing doors and bold gold text.
